Lead Artist on Judas, over-seeing Environment Art at CO-dev studio: Paragon Interactive, with Ghost Story Games.
Daily duties included:
• Midpoly Architecture Kit / Asset creation.
• Trim creation / Polish pass on existing content.
• Daily standup call with internal team at Paragon Interactive team and external contractors.
• Translating feedback from GSG directly to our external contractors.
• Task creation and management for external contractors and internal team via Monday and Hansoft.
• Creation and set-dressing of procedural prefabs within Unreal Engine, for GSG Level Art team.
• Documentation and housekeeping, covering pipelines and best practices for Judas.
• Onboard and guidance for any contractors assigned to Judas.
• Material Instance creation, setup, integration and housekeeping of materials for Judas.
• Polish pass of all authored materials for Judas and ensuring all materials are PBR compliant.
• Reduction of Actor count and draw-calls by asset merging and re-introduction of static mesh Uassets.
• Assigning tags to authored content for correct procedural theme generation within Judas.
• Asset/Architecture kit optimization, collision and manual lightmap UV’s.
• Working with production to plan/schedule work and ensure that time-sheets etc are updated and up to the minute from both internal team at Paragon Interactive and external contractors
• Unreal and P4V source art housekeeping.
